NIHR Signs a Cooperation Protocol with the High Commission for Human Rights in the Russian Federation

Within the framework of the joint cooperation between the National Institution for Human Rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the High Commission for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, and further to the memorandum of understanding concluded between the two sides in accordance with the powers granted to each of them under the relevant national legislation, Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairperson of the NIHR Council of Commissioner, and Prof. Tatiana Moscalcova, the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation, signed a Cooperation Protocol aimed at providing a framework for cooperation and facilitating cooperation between the two parties in areas of common interest through sharing legal procedures, participating in meetings on international cooperation and human rights, participating in the Expert Council of the High Commission for Human Rights Human Rights in the Russian Federation, and jointly reviewing the experiences of the two institutions in the area of protection and promotion of women's rights.

For his part, Al-Derazi explained that the next stage will witness a consolidation of cooperation between the two sides in areas of interest to both sides, in addition to technical cooperation to raise capacities related to human rights in accordance with international standards.
